Converting a client's Wella formula into Pulp Riot? The Shade Library matches shades by verified depth and ordered reflects, not by the number printed on the tube. Here's how the two ranges line up.
Wella and Pulp Riot levels line up, but their reflect structures don't always. Only 46 of 190 Wella shades have a Pulp Riot shade with the same depth and the same reflects in the same order. For the other 144, the nearest Pulp Riot shade changes the result, and knowing that before you mix saves a correction.
The straightforward ones: standard natural shades where both brands print the same level. Any chart gets these right.
