• Client profile data that you enter into the platform — including client names, hair information and colour formulas
• Payment information processed securely through Lemon Squeezy — we never store your card details directly
• Usage data such as login times and feature usage to improve the platform

We use your data solely to:

• Provide and improve the The Shade Library service
• Process your subscription payments
• Send you important account and service updates
• Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. Client Data You Enter

Any client profiles, colour formulas or notes you enter into the platform belong to you. We store this data securely on your behalf. We do not access, share or use your client data for any purpose other than displaying it back to you within the platform.

Your client data is protected by row-level security — meaning only your account can access the data you enter. No other user can see your clients.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on servers in the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to production data is strictly limited.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request deletion of your account, we will delete your data within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
